Services

HTC Helsinki offers tenants the full range of services expected from a modern office building. The service selection includes reception services, restaurant and catering services, conference rooms, social facilities, showers and changing rooms, a fitness centre, cleaning services, security services and maintenance services. The conference and sauna facilities on the top floor are available for rent to companies. For reservations, please contact HTC Helsinki’s restaurant.

Cleaning services

The property is responsible for arranging the cleaning of common areas and shared facilities (lobbies, stairways, conference room floor, etc.), and the property company has signed a service agreement with a cleaning service provider accordingly.

Each tenant company is responsible for arranging the cleaning of their leased premises.

Complaints concerning cleaning services should be communicated to the cleaning service supervisor.

Lift maintenance

HTC Santa Maria has two lifts, one of which is also equipped for goods traffic. HTC Vega has three lifts, one of which is designated for goods traffic.

The lifts designated for goods traffic are designed to accommodate one euro pallet. The use of the lifts is restricted by access cards. The passenger lifts have a weight limit of 800 kg, while the goods lifts have a weight limit of 1,600 kg.

The lifts are equipped with an around-the-clock intercom for contacting the lift maintenance service provider. During normal working hours, any problems should be reported to the maintenance company.

The maintenance service provider’s 24-hour alarm centre is on duty during evenings, nights and at weekends. The lifts also have an intercom for contacting the KONE emergency centre.

In the event of a lift malfunction while you are inside the lift, follow the instructions on the wall of the lift car. If you notice a lift malfunction while you are outside the lift, please notify the reception.

The lift company’s call centre is on duty from Monday to Friday after 4:00 p.m. and on weekends.

Maintenance services

The property management company has signed a service agreement with a maintenance company for the maintenance of heating, water, ventilation and electrical systems and the cleaning of the building’s outdoor areas and parking lots.

The maintenance company is also responsible for the maintenance of outdoor areas. However, the City of Helsinki is responsible for snow management and slip prevention on all of the footpaths on Tammasaarenkatu.

The maintenance company has a separate price list for maintenance tasks that fall within the tenant’s responsibility, such as changing light bulbs and mounting whiteboards. If the task can be completed by the on-site maintenance worker in less than one hour, the maintenance company charges the customer for one hour only. If the maintenance work requires a mechanic, the minimum charge for two hours.

Reception services

The reception services in the Santa Maria building, next to the main entrance, are open from Monday to Friday, from 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. The main entrance is open during the same hours as the reception services.

HTC Helsinki’s reception services provide information for the building’s users and visitors to all tenant companies.

The reception services include the reception and guidance of visitors, receiving and passing on various reports and alerts, monitoring the premises with CCTV, supervising and maintaining public order and security in the building, receiving and passing on service requests related to business premises, as well as other miscellaneous and minor service tasks that can be carried out without leaving the reception area.

Hosts are always responsible for their visitors.

Restaurant and catering services

Sodexo Oy operates two staff restaurants at the property, located on the ground floor of HTC Santa Maria and HTC Nina, near the main entrances.

The restaurants accept cash, Lounasseteli lunch vouchers, debit cards and credit cards. Other payment methods, such as payment by access card, may be negotiated with Sodexo.

Security services

The security company receives all alarms triggered at the property. All alarms caused by the incorrect use of the access control system result in a visit by a security guard. The security company will always respond to an alarm by having security personnel visit the property in person.

Waste management

HTC Helsinki’s shared waste disposal area is located on the basement level of HTC Santa Maria, next to the loading dock. Tenant companies are responsible for delivering their waste to the waste disposal area and sorting it into the appropriate containers. The management is responsible for removing the waste from the disposal area.

Carwash

The carwash in the indoor car park is open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The carwash is on the basement level of HTC Vega.

Local services

The metro station and services at the Ruoholahti shopping centre are within walking distance.

The Cable Factory cultural centre (Kaapelitehdas) is right next door, and the Salmisaari sports centre is a five-minute walk from the property.
